Yesterday i was wearing a shirt that displayed liberal ideas, then another person that had extremely conservative ideas approached me. I knew him but usually did not converse with him, and he said to me "I hate liberals." So I tried to talk but whenever I did he would cut me off. When I finally was able to get a word in I said "I disagree with you, however I do not hate you and if you would like to have an intelligent discussion I will engage with you, however if you simply keep on insulting me I will not have any respect for you." First: there is a difference between disagreeing with someone and hating someone and if you do hate someone because they have different views than you you are no better than Hitler himself. Second: I am extremely liberal, however I do not hate anyone because they are consevative, maybe if they're rude, mean, or even just a jackass i will hate them but if you have a different political standing from me I won't hate you. Third: I have heard people say things like "I hope Obama gets murdered," and things of that nature very often, first wow... just wow, and second: if McCain would have won the election I would have been very dissapointed, but I would not of wished death upon him, I would want him to simply fix my country. So I leave you with this thought have you ever hated someone because they disagree with you, and if you have did you hate them because they disagreed with you or because you didn't understand their philosophy?

Ignorance in todays youth

Ignorance, it seems to be a plague on today's youth, I should know I'm one of them. It seems to me that many of today's youth use not good grammar, and if you do use good grammar, or make it sound like you know what your talking about you'll get made fun of or considered a loser,nerd,etc. etc. it sickens me that people refuse to sound intelligent and somehow that makes you cool. Modern day youth also seem to have ignorant ideals ranging from racism, sexism, and even frankly stupid ideas (such as all liberals are gay). I find it absolutely astounding that America is filled with these ignorant fools that do not care about fellow man and do not want to even try to strive for more than mediocrity, this is not the America I am proud of and it is not the America I want to live in. Ignorance is not bliss, it is stupidity, selfishness, and dangerous

What is art? Well the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionarty defines it as "the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects."but, is that what art really is, or, is it more than that? Personally, I believe that the word "art" is practically useless because every one has their own definition, I think it is personal expression that can evoke human emotion. The definition of art is so broad that almost anything can be "art". But, are all paintings art, is all music art. Art cannot be defined because art is the undefineable, what you believe is art is a journey you must take alone, no one can tell you what is or isn't art because everyone sees things differantly.

stupid fads

so there are two main things i want to rant about to day, both current fads, both as annoying as crap. first is the Disney musician fad, if you don't know what I'm talking about its the musicians that started out at Disney such as Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers. Now it isn't the fact that I hate their music; its the fact that they are total sell outs, wouldn't be famous if it weren't for Disney, they suck at music in general, and are freakin perfect. My favorite band is KISS let ne explain why KISS is ten feakin times better than these two douchebag musicians.

1. KISS started out on their own as a garage band from NYC and with no corprate sponsers and wrote almost all their own music.
2. KISS might have more mechandise on the market than almost any other band but they always stuck to what they believed in, never ever sold out their belifes, and always stuck to who they were.
3. Every member of KISS writes music for their own insturment and can play the crap out of it to.
4. KISS never wore chastity rings.

The second topic is this whole vampire-twilight fad. Dude you aren't a vampire and you don't need to ware fake fangs or pretend your goth because you aren't. I'm fine with a popular book series in fact i love harry potter but i dont try to be a wizard. The problem i have with the twilight series is what it did to goth culture. Now im not goth but i have respect for them and now because of these stupid books it seems everyone is trying to be goth or a vampire and posers piss me off like you wouldn't believe and now because of these stupod posers goth culture is not what it use to be.
